This includes discussions about your preferred style, your needs, and what you envision for the end result. Together, we will create a design that exceeds your expectations. Once we evaluate your space and discuss your project, including budget, we can move on to the fun part: design and 3D rendering.
Step 2: Landscape Design and 3D Rendering
We love making your vision come to life before we even break ground. Once you decide to move forward with Western Lehigh, our team will design your project, which includes hand-drawn design elements and a 3D rendering that provides lifelike detail to your project. This stage also includes a contracted price and breakdown of materials costs necessary to bring your project to fruition.
Through the use of our 3D design technology, you will be able to envision the design in greater detail and experience firsthand how your project will look when completed. We also welcome you to check out our plant material and display landscaping at our office and nursery location.
Step 3: Construction
Prior to construction, we research all local codes and permits and you will be informed of scheduling. We aim to make the installation process as smooth as possible, and we welcome your involvement every step of the way. Your questions are always welcome!
Step 4: Completion
After your project is completed, we always leave instructions and insight on how to best care for your landscaping. Our work is backed up by a one year peace-of-mind guarantee. We also offer future maintenance service to preserve your investment.

Our budget estimates serve as a general guideline, recognizing that project costs can vary based on factors like size, materials, and customization options.
Custom Structures:
For a standard, free standing 16×16 pergola or pavilion, the cost generally starts at $15,000. Added customization or details would increase cost.
Attached structures, such as a roof extension, start around $35,000. *This estimate is based on an extension covering a 400 sq. ft. patio area. Overall size and accessory features will affect price.
Decks, utilizing composite decking, typically start at $25,000. (This is based off of a 200 square ft area)
Outdoor Lighting & Audio:
Depending on layout and amount of lighting, the average starting cost to install outdoor lighting is $5,000.
Outdoor audio installation starts on average at $6,000. There are numerous options and upgraded features available that would increase cost.
Patios and Walkways:
We provide an extensive selection of materials for your custom patio. The following designs are among the most popular choices, tailored to fit a 400 square foot space. Prices may fluctuate depending on the size of the patio and additional features like seating walls, fire pits, pillars, steps, and walkways.

Outdoor Kitchen/Bar:
Customer supplies appliances, such as a grill, refrigerator, cabinets, etc. and our team will install. Adding a custom outdoor kitchen or bar area to your patio project typically starts around $18,000 and can be upwards of $35,000 depending on size and overall design.
Firepits & Fireplaces:
Adding a wood burning or gas fire pit to your patio project would range between $3,000 and $7,000.
A custom built fireplace would cost on average between $30,000 and $70,000.
Planting Renovations:
At Western Lehigh Services, you can expect efficient and unique landscape by our design professionals. The landscaping transformation, front and back of the home, will include an array of trees, shrubs, boulders, mulch/stone and will range roughly from $5,000 – $20,000.
Concrete Swimming Pool:
On average a concrete swimming pool starts at $90,000, and that includes permits, pool construction, plumbing, etc. If adding a spa, the cost would start around $15,000. Custom boulder water features start around $15,000 and are subject to increase based on the size and complexity of the water feature. Required fencing would range between $15,000- $25,000. Landscaping and grading around the pool would start around $15,000 and hardscaping around the pool would start around $20,000.
